Confessions
Of A Christmas Banshee
Confessons
of a Christmas Banshee is a combination of unique storytelling combined
with film, and MGM musical style song and dance numbers about Wendy
Rosoff's experiences of Christmas. From her childhood obsession with
presents she was denied (Big Barbie Head, Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine, Holly
Hobby Easy Bake Oven), to taking it upon herself to educate the world
about Claymation Christmas Specials on TV, to professional tales and
a behind the scenes look at what really happens in giant Christmas vehicles
like the Radio City Christmas Spectacular... the good, the bad and the
ugly. All this and she's Jewish. Merry Christmas!!

WHAT
IS GOODNIGHT BURBANK?
A
little "The Office", a little "The Daily Show" and
a lot of originality - that's Goodnight Burbank, a fictional
11 O'Clock newscast delivered straight from Hollywood's back
yard.

WHAT
THE CRITICS ARE SAYING....
Funny...Well
done. It's a lot better than 99% of the stuff on TV.
- Peter Johnson, USA Today
One of my favorite shows...
- Walt Mossberg, Wall Street Journal
Best of the Web
- TV Guide
Bracingly funny...Competitive...with the very best that networks have to offer
- Scott Collins, LA Times
The Murphy Brown of this millenium
- Amy Murphy, LA's Fox11 News
Another winner. Think "Studio 60" with a "Daily Show" edge.
- Ellen Lee, San Francisco Chronicle
...brilliantly satirises local US TV news and would not look out of place on
a network.
- BBC News
...thoroughly entertaining.
- Hollywood Reporter
Hayden Black could give David Letterman a run for his money. Goodnight Burbank
is a hybrid between Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart - and it's really,
really funny.
- G4 TechTV's "Torrent"
A beautifully written and excellently performed comedy series, Goodnight Burbank
ostensibly shows a nightly newscast broadcasting out of California.
But this is more a comedy of relationships, as the dysfunctional co-anchors
spar and joust, both during the broadcast and in off-air moments.
It's an excellent format that's perfect for a video podcast, and Hayden Black,
who write and acts, has something of the "Ricky Gervais" about him.
His two co-stars are also perfectly cast, and the whole series is outstanding.

Hayden Black
...I'm looking forward to seeing how the on-air relationships gel or in this
case dissolve. The secret to dood comedy, is having characters you can believe
in and actors who can portray them to their fullest. Goodnight Burbank succeeds
on both counts.
- Vidcast Launchpad
An outrageous take on TV news. The dysfunctional co-anchors often upstage their
breaking stories, venting off-air tidbits most viewers can identify
with.
- Burbank Leader
It's almost a high...

G4 TechTV's "Torrent"
Goodnight Burbank is a funny podcast that looks a lot like your local evening
news. However, as soon as they start talking you know its going to
kick ass.
